Portolano Research Retreat23-24 May 2000Aljoya Conference Center, Seattle, WA
Welcome to the home page of the First Portolano Research Retreat! Our goal in holding these meetings is to provide an opportunity for all of us (especially our students) to present their current work and research and implementation plans. We invite colleagues from industry to provide valuable feedback on our activities and synergize research collaborations. This one and a half day meeting is held at a conference center near the University of Washington campus that provides a self-contained facility so that we can continue our discussions long into the night. All attendees are asked to stay at the Aljoya center. Private rooms are clustered around common living areas that we will use for casual discussions in the evening. |
